Manesar is listed by the district administration as both a sub-division and a tehsil of Gurugram district, and Municipal Corporation Manesar is one of the district's two municipal corporations. Plots within HSIIDC's industrial estates are additionally governed by their allotment terms and HSIIDC's estate procedures.
“Manesar” can mean the tehsil, the municipal corporation's area, or the industrial township — and the answer changes which records and procedures apply. Always establish which one a parcel belongs to.
For industrial occupiers
Plots in industrial estates carry allotment conditions on use, construction timelines and transfer. Leased built-up space depends on the lessor's own permissions, so ask to see them. See our guide to industrial estate procedures.

- What zone does the applicable plan show for the parcel — read from the notified plan, not a brochure?

- Is any part of the land subject to forest, PLPA, Aravalli, heritage or airport-height restrictions?
