The need
A site is not usable until it has the power load, water and drainage your operation requires. In Haryana, electricity connections and load are handled by the distribution licensee (for Gurugram, Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam) under the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission's supply code. Groundwater extraction for industry and infrastructure needs a permission from the Haryana Water Resources (Conservation, Regulation and Management) Authority unless an exemption applies. Water supply and sewer connections depend on which body serves the area.

- Identifying the serving body for each utility at the parcel and the applicable procedure.
- Application packs and tracking for connections, load changes and groundwater permission.
- Before lease or purchase: confirming what exists, what is sanctioned and what is only applied for.

Connections and permissions are granted by the utility or authority. Electrical and plumbing designs are by qualified engineers; electrical installations require licensed contractors and statutory inspections where applicable.
