Start with the plot's own documents
The allotment letter, conveyance or lease deed, and every later permission are the rules that bind a plot. Read them first. In HSIIDC estates, procedures for transfer, lease, change of product, extensions and the like are set out in the estate management procedure in force.
Typical questions
- Was the plot transferred or leased before, and was each step permitted?
- Have construction and commencement-of-production obligations been met, or extended?
- Is the activity carried on the one permitted?
- Are dues paid, and is there a current no-dues record?
- What will the estate authority require (and charge) for the step you want?
Who decides
The estate authority decides permissions and charges; advocates vet documents.
