Industrial-estate procedures (HSIIDC)

Allotment, transfer, lease, change of use and compliance steps for plots in industrial estates.

The need

Plots in HSIIDC industrial estates are held on terms set by the allotment or conveyance documents and the estate-management procedures in force. Transfers, leases, construction timelines and changes of use usually need the estate authority's permission and payment of the applicable charges.

Typical scope

  • Reading the plot's allotment / conveyance / lease papers and identifying the conditions that apply.
  • Checking the estate procedures in force for the step you want (transfer, lease, sub-division, change of product or use, extension of time).
  • Assembling applications and coordinating with the architect and advocates.
  • Tracking dues, no-dues and permission status.

What you receive

Conditions summary, procedure note with sources, application pack and tracker.

Decided or signed by others

Permissions and charges are decided by HSIIDC under its procedures. Legal documents are vetted by advocates.
