The framework
Covered projects must register under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016. In Haryana, the 2017 Rules apply and records are on the Haryana RERA website.
What to read
- Registration number, validity and any extensions.
- Promoter details and land-owning entities.
- Licence and approvals uploaded — compare with what you have been shown.
- Quarterly progress and any orders or complaints.
Limits
Registration is not a certificate that every approval is valid or that a project will complete on time.
